greetings from st. vincent

Caleigh, Eleni and I arrived in St. Vincent around 10pm friday night.  Liz (Sugar Mill Academy principal) met us at the airport and took us to subway.  It was kind of disappointing to arrive so late because we couldn't see anything.  It was a delight to wake up the next morning to all the sights and sounds of st. vincent.  We have mango and coconut trees surrounding the house and we are next door to the school.  We went into the market today and tried some of the local cuisine.  It was delicious (and spicy).  We haven't made it to the beach yet, but we are hoping tomorrow will be the day.

The roads are very narrow and curve every which way around the hills of st. vincent.  I am hoping my stomach will adjust soon.

The people are very friendly and Shirley (our roomate) and Liz have been more than wonderful to us.  We are very lucky to have them.

Take care everyone and we are hoping to post pics very soon!  Enjoy your adventures and be safe!

ps. it was 29 degrees here today and VERY hot ; )

Kelly, Eleni and Caleigh
